First founded as a sole proprietorship in post war 1940s, it was engaged in
mainly carpentry works and small-scale construction activities. The company
was subsequently incorporated as Far East Contractor Pte Ltd on 7 May 1988
to manage projects of a larger scale. The company has since completed numerous
prestigious projects for HDB and the town councils as well as various private
housing developments in Singapore. Today, the company is renowned to be a
reputable and experienced general building contractor with high quality workmanship.
The company operates from its own premises at Guilin Building. It has an
in-house experienced management team to provide the expertise in ensuring
the smooth and successful completion of projects undertaken.
